The Library

The ICIP Library is a reference centre in Catalonia specializing in the culture of peace, non-violence, conflicts and security. Its purpose is to allow and promote the search for knowledge on these topics.

The library supports ICIP, researchers, and experts in peace and is in permanent contact with similar institutions and centres worldwide.

The library is part of the network of specialized libraries of the Generalitat and is included in the Collective Catalog of the Catalan Universities.

With almost 10,000 volumes and access to multiple sources of information, it has become the main library on peacebuilding topics and nonviolent movements in southern Europe in a few years.

From September 2022, the ICIP Library is located at Carrer Aragó 244-248 on a provisional basis and is awaiting a permanent move to a new space.
